The Big Bird Bake Off
Fancy yourself a baker? Of cakes? Slices? Breads? Pastries? What else?
Do you love creating?
Do you want to create some bird art at home?
Here is your chance to gain kudos for both knowing about a bird and how to cook!
We are looking for the best baked goodies illustrating one or more of our Aussie birds. Maybe a Fairy Wren Brownie? Or a Cuckoo-shrike Cake? How about Spotted Pardalote pastries, Lyrebird pizza?
Bake up your favourite cake, cookie, cupcake, slice, bread, pastry, pizza etc and bring it along to Coolart Homestead, Somers, on 23 November at 11:30 am.
Enter as an individual, encourage your school teacher, scout leader or even the CFA captain to enter a class. Its up to you.
Bring along your entry with the completed entry form, one per entry, by 12:00pm on Sunday 23 November, to go into the judging in a number of categories. Enter as many times as you like – its free. There will be small prizes awarded to the winners.
Sunday 23 November: Location Coolart Wetlands near the top of the Observatory stairs
Small prizes for all ages categories from preschool to adult.
