Hannah Brown
Hannah Brown currently works to support environmental volunteers achieve their biodiversity conservation goals, connect with nature, and build community stewardship on the Mornington Peninsula. She believes that a community connected to its natural environment is more likely to engage in its protection.
Hannah thoroughly enjoyed studying Environmental Science and has many years’ experience working on-ground in bushland restoration, where her skills in flora identification and bushland management techniques developed.
Her love for nature extends into her everyday life - it is rare to see Hannah away from the bush or beach without binoculars over her shoulder, searching for wildflowers or even pulling out the odd weed or two.
A keen traveler, she has recently returned from a trip to the Cape York Peninsula in Queensland, and considers Mornington Wilderness Camp in the Kimberley, Western Australia her favourite bird-watching destination. Through her work and travels, Hannah aims to inspire others to conserve biodiversity.
