Western Port Birding by Boat

An early start will see you on the water out of Tooradin at 8am to catch the low tide when mudflats, sand bars and coastline are exposed to feeding shore birds. Look out for Sand pipers, Eastern Curlew, Whimbrel, Tattlers, Greenshank, and Red Knots as well as residents such as Cape Barren Geese, terns, Nankeen Night heron, Egrets, Ibis, herons and the White-bellied Sea-eagle. Return in time to see the afternoon presentations at Coolart.

Leave Coolart Homestead carpark at 7:15am, returning approximately 1:30pm.
