Clayton Fenech
Clayton enjoys being outdoors and is usually found in bushland reserve spotting fungi in autumn, orchids in spring and birds throughout the entire year.
Clayton is committed to supporting community efforts to undertake best-practice land management and conservation actions across the Mornington Peninsula.
This includes enhancing biodiversity through the development of biolinks and managing pest animal control programs to protecting the region’s unique flora and fauna.
He finds inspiration in observing birds across a diverse range of habitats, from coastal wetlands to woodlands, and aims to inspire others to do the same through citizen science. One of Clayton’s birding highlights was observing ground parrots feeding in their natural habitat while exploring Mount Donaldson in Tasmania’s Tarkine Wilderness Area.
