Baldry’s Crossing and Flinders Ocean Beach
Take a 3km walk through peninsula forest. Key forest species to find include Rufous Fantail, Crested Shrike-tit, Dusky Woodswallow, Crescent Honeyeater. This will be followed by a visit to Flinders Beach to look for early wader arrivals Hooded Plover, Pacific Gull, Kelp Gull, Black-faced Cormorant and Australasian Gannet. Transport is by minibus from Coolart. Note the walk is on an unsealed walking track. No disabled access.
Leave Coolart Homestead carpark at 8:00am, returning approximately 1:00pm. Travel by Minibus.
