Stephen Brend

Stephen is the Western Port Biosphere Foundation’s conservation biologist and has worked on wildlife conservation projects in Australia and overseas for almost 30 years.  At the Biosphere Foundation, Stephen’s work revolves around threatened species and protecting the Ramsar values of Western Port.  He spends a lot of time thinking about bandicoots, migratory shorebirds and the people who can help or hurt them.

Stephen has an intimate knowledge of birdlife locations in Western Port.
